Thinking about missionaries...

I'm a missionary, so the subject of missions/missionaries is quite personal to me. I've heard/read some not-so-nice things said about missionaries and that's not cool in my book.

In the next couple of posts I'd like to address some of those things. Such as:


-Why do missionaries talk so much about money? (and why do they always seem to need so much)
-Why do missionaries try to Americanize other cultures?
-Why do so many missionaries feel the need to go overseas when there are people right on their block who need their help?

And maybe answer questions like:

-How close is the nearest McDonalds? (Because we all know how important that is)
